PUTRAJAYA: Civil servants should convey to the Government their grievances on the implementation of the Public Service New Remuneration Scheme (SBPA), said former Public Services Department director-general Tan Sri Ismail Adam.
Ismail, who chairs the task force formed to review the controversial scheme, said civil servants must write to them in order for their grievances to be heard.
“I have read a lot about the civil servants’ dissatisfaction.
“It shows that the feeling was already there from the beginning of the issue, and now is the time for them to officially write to us,” he said after receiving the appointment letter as head of the task force from Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan yesterday.
Ten others who received the letters included Solicitor-General Datuk Idrus Harun and Cuepacs president Datuk Omar Osman.
