THE state government has unveiled a good budget and viable plans for Perak but all of it will become ineffective without the cooperation of its civil servants, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
Calling on them to put their best foot forward, he added that the state required the help of civil servants to implement and execute what it had planned.
“We need our civil servants to make our plans a success.
“And when the plans work out, it will not only be my achievement. It will become our achievement,” Dr Zambry said during an executive talk for civil servants recently.
Civil servants, he added, should always adopt positive thinking when carrying out their duties.
“It is impossible to achieve much without positive thinking.
“It is our responsibility to do our job well and to ensure that we deliver to the people,” he said.
Dr Zambry said civil servants should be fast, efficient and accurate in their work while being accommodating to others.
They should never act like Little Napoleons, he said.
